Welcome to Sir Roger Manwood's School
Sir Roger Manwood's School is a mixed grammar school for students aged 11-18. The school assumed Grant Maintained status in 1992, in 1999 became a Foundation School and on 1st March 2011 was granted Academy Status. At the moment we have 915 students in total, 300 in the Sixth Form and 55 boarders.

Design and Technology students excel in Faraday Challenge Day
There has been boarding provision at Manwood's since the School's earliest days, with major expansion of accommodation in the late 1940s.
Boarding places are offered subject to availability and to performance in tests set by the School. There are places for boarders at the 11+ entry stage.
